Entry Requirements
There are no formal qualifications required to undertake this course. To secure your place please return the completed registration form available by contacting us. After this, we will arrange an initial advice and guidance session before completing an initial assessment.
Why should I do this qualification?
This course will raise your awareness of mental health and mental health issues and help you to support individuals with mental health problems.
What will I learn?
This course explores different types of mental ill health and factors that may increase the risk of PTSD and post natal depression. It will provide you with an understanding of how to support individuals with mental ill health.
You will study a range of units covering a range of issues including eating disorders, PTSD, post-natal depression.
How will I be assessed?
This course is internally assessed by your tutor. You will be required to answer questions in an electronic workbook. You can complete work at a a time to suit you, we provide recommended submission dates but you do not need to stick to these. Your tutor is available to provide support throughout the course.
