There are no formal qualifications required to undertake this course. To secure your place please return the completed registration form available by contacting us. After this, we will arrange an initial advice and guidance session before completing an initial assessment.
Why should I do this qualification?This qualification is designed for those that work in, or would like to work in, the health care sector. It will provide knowledge that may be applied to a wide range of job roles within health and social care settings. Please note that this is a knowledge based qualification and will not allow you to be occupationally competent in the administration of medicine.
What will I learn?
You will learn about the different types of medicine and their use as well as gaining knowledge of the procedures for obtaining, storing and administering and disposing of medication. You will also gain an understanding of the legislation related to administering medication.
How will I be assessed?
All work will be internally assessed using a range of methods including written question and answer and written assignments.
