There are no formal qualifications required to undertake this course. To secure your place please return the completed registration form available by contacting us. After this, we will arrange an initial advice and guidance session before completing an initial assessment.
Why should I do this qualification?
If you have not done any formal studying recently, this course provides a gentle introduction by providing you with an introduction to studying and a basic introduction to health and social care. Through this course you will gain the confidence to progress to further studies.
What will I learn?
There are three units to complete. You will learn about how you study best, as well as protection and safeguarding, Additionally, you will learn the basic principles and values in health and social care.
How will I be assessed?
All units will be internally assessed using a range of methods which could include: written assignments or tasks. Such as, designing a leaflet or booklet, completing interactive matching and sorting activites.
