Malcolm Wake
SEND Inclusion & Education Delivery Manager
Experience:
27 years working in education – schools, colleges, universities and the private sector. 20 years in Australia where I led a number of projects including the incredibly successful “Making the Connection” project and the “Incarceration Prisons Art Show”. I have spoken at conferences, on radio and TV and feel passionately about the impact and transformational power of education.

Experience:
After achieving a BA (Hons) and MA, I wanted to continue my passion for learning by working in the education sector. I have over 10 years’ experience working in education through to university level, focusing on assessment and internal quality assurance

Over 25 years within retail, ranging from Customer Service Advisor to Operations Manager, within huge retail brands. I have spent the last 2 years working for Country Sports Magazine, managing the subscriptions

21 years working in education – community sector with Plymouth Argyle & Duchy College working with schools, colleges, universities and families. Over 10 years in local and national football where I have been very lucky to work with England Colleges Under 17s football as National Team officer, coaching in California USA for 3 summers

I have previously worked in forensic psychology, adult mental health and borough council customer engagement. I have also had my own business in Cornwall, where I have now lived for 18 years.

20 years of working in the Public Sector. I have a 2:1 BA Hons in IT and English Literature – I was a mature student with 2 kids under the age of 5 and the only person with that combination in my year!
