Review Of Counselling Courses With Step Into Learning
Thinking about enrolling in a counselling course in 2025? In this recent review from Claire, we hear why she chose Step into Learning and how she finds the course. Thank you to Claire for taking the time to write this review.
“I chose the course with Step into Learning because it represents good value, the training centre’s location, and it offered the modality I wanted to study. The course has expanded my knowledge and understanding of the Person-Centred approach whilst introducing Transactional Analysis and focusing on areas such as grief and loss, working with children and young people, and trauma which have been invaluable for me to gain a greater depth of understanding in these areas.
The course has enabled me to develop my self-awareness, and it actively encourages continued personal development. My placement is through Step into Learning Counselling (SILC). My induction for placement was thorough, and I felt fully supported throughout the process. Advice and support are readily available when on placement, allowing me to flourish and feel confident when working with clients. This in turn has had a positive impact on my clients who are provided with a safe, non-judgemental space with the core conditions intertwined so they feel safe to bring whatever they need to work through. Thus far this has had a positive impact on both the client’s lives and that of their families. If you are prepared to put the hard work into this course, you will be fully supported both in the classroom and placement and it will certainly put you on the right path to achieve your goals”.
