Learners Attend Workshop with Poet Olive Mills

by | Apr 8, 2026

On Wednesday 1st April, our learners had the exciting opportunity to take part in a special session at Launceston library, led by poet Olive Mills.

Launceston Library were delighted to welcome Charles Causley Trust Poet in Residence, Olive Mills. She spent time at the library, being introduced to the space and exploring the Causley collection, before holding a workshop with our learners.

During the session, our learners engaged enthusiastically, gaining insight into poetry and the creative process. Olive’s inspiring approach encouraged learners to share ideas, build confidence, and explore their own creativity.

The visit was a valuable and memorable experience, and we are grateful for the opportunity to connect our learners with a professional poet in such an engaging way.
