National Teaching Assistants’ Day

by | Sep 29, 2025

We wanted to take a moment to celebrate National Teaching Assistants’ Day which took place last Friday 26th September. This year’s theme is ‘Read Together, Grow Together – TAs Making Every Page Count’.

The below information is taken from the National Teaching Assistants’ Day website:

“National Teaching Assistants’ Day is an awareness day taking place on Friday 26th September 2025. Schools across the UK celebrate their own TAs and nominate their favourites for our Teaching Assistant of the Year award. In 2012, Teaching Personnel noticed a gap in the calendar. While many educational causes had awareness days, there wasn’t one dedicated to the essential, yet often under-recognised, role of teaching assistants. Recognising the tireless work TAs contribute to classrooms every day, Teaching Personnel felt it was time to celebrate their achievements and raise awareness of their impact.”

We also wanted to recognise and celebrate our two amazing Learning Support Assistants, Kat and Shelley, who support all our young learners on their study programmes. Thanks for all your hard work, dedication, passion and fun!
