Our Learners’ Development – A Parent’s Review

Sometimes we find it hard to describe the, often daily, development we see in our learners at Step into Learning. Often they appear to be small steps to the outside world. We would like to thank this young learner’s parent for taking the time to share their view of the development they are witnessing.

“I just wanted to say thank you for all you’re doing for Tristen. He spent the whole of last year telling us nothing he’d done. This term he is chatty, engaged and talks about a range of things he’s learnt.

He is particularly enjoying the cooking element and will talk to us about his food and what hasn’t worked so well, how to improve, and thinking ahead for future recipes. He’s even discussed setting up his own business!

He came home from the site visit last week and chatted to me nonstop for 45 minutes about his day – how to cut a T-bone steak, quality over quantity in business, etc. It was so lovely to see him so enthusiastic.”
