Positive Planet – our Silver Accreditation!

We are thrilled to announce that we have now achieved our Silver Accreditation with Positive Planet after having achieved our Bronze award last year!

We are committed to our sustainability journey and have now completed the second year of measurement. We have embedded sustainability into our employee KPIs. Sustainability is now part of our Professional Growth Review process, where we are asking employees to demonstrate:

• Engagement with sustainability incentives
• Awareness of sustainability
• Upskilling (self, others or clients)  – for example completing the Carbon literacy Training (four of the team have now completed this), our Catering & Hospitality Tutor, Gavin Allan, has introduced sustainable practices into the curriculum e.g. using local suppliers, storing food to reduce waste
• We are promoting sustainable behaviours e.g. recycling, beach clean, using less water
