Step Into Learning Tree @ Launceston Festival of Trees!

We are very proud to be part of the St Mary Magdalene Church Festival of Trees and Cribs 2025! We have our very own pink Step Into Learning tree, which is part of a display featuring around 100 trees. Huge thanks go to Clare and Naomi from our  Step Into Learning team, who decorated our tree last week, with the help of some of our 16-18 study programme learners. The festival opened at 7pm last Friday, 28th November, to coincide with Launceston’s Christmas light switch-on and late-night shopping, and runs until Saturday, 13th December. Visitors can view the festival every day, between 10am and 4pm, accompanied by music and refreshments.

 

We’re so glad to be part of this wonderful festival in 2025. Some of the Step Into Learning team will be present on various days throughout the festival to help with stewarding and refreshments. We hope to see you there!

 

Proceeds from the festival will go to the Launceston Foodbank and to keep the heating in St Mary’s going, ensuring the church is an accessible, warm space for the community this winter.
