Success for CN4C Enterprise Projects
One of our partners, CN4C, has recently led two successful learner-led enterprise initiatives:
Japanese Cafe: Some of the Core/Advanced group of learners at CN4C set up a Japanese cafe as part of their time management unit. They worked together to create the concept, decide on the menu and pricing and then book and serve the community and staff members. They served ramen, poke bowls, mochi and bubble tea. Staff members loved it and have requested a regular pop-up.
Christmas Market: The Christmas Market was a fundraising event for the CN4C community Christmas. Learners have been developing their own enterprise ideas and creating products to sell to raise funds. They have raised an amazing £689.44, including the match funding that the Transition group secured through their previous teamwork project of setting up our fundraising campaign. Learners will be continuing to commission rag wreaths, jewellery, cards and wooden decorations to continue their fundraising.
