The Outdoor Place Launch Rocking Tots!

Our partner, The Outdoor Place, have a new business, Rocking Tots, that they’re about to reveal at the Wadebridge Christmas Fayre, this Friday 28th November from 10.30am to 7.30pm. They will be based in Wadebridge Town Hall for the event, which continues on Saturday 29th November 10am to 3pm.

Their new business venture started when the Founder of The Outdoor Place, Charlotte Mackrill, saw an advert for a rocking horse company that a family were selling due to a bereavement. The family had been looking for the right people to take on the production of their beautiful horses. The learners at The Outdoor Place have loved working on the horses, each making one that reflects their own hobbies and interests.

The Rocking Tots horses are aimed at children aged two to five and priced from £80. Horses can be plain or fully bespoke designs. There are exciting plans to further develop the business too!

When speaking to our Executive Director, Kelly Channon, Charlotte said: “Kelly, I am so proud of every one of them, they have gained so much from the experience. Not least the potential of a very viable business in the future”
