Today’s Awards Ceremony
We have had an amazing afternoon celebrating with our Step Into Hospitality and Step Into Catering learners, and their families, at our awards ceremony. It was very special to come together to celebrate all the amazing achievements over the last year, and to share some refreshments and cake. Every one of them has made excellent progress since September and we are very proud!
Our Award Winners, each receiving a certificate and a wooden star award:
- Orion – Inspiration Station Award (for the learner who is like a train of positivity, inspiring others to hop on board and reach their goals)
- Gracie-Mae – Community Connector Award (for the learner who has the magical ability to link people and groups, creating a web of support and friendship)
- Lewis – Trying Triumph Award (for the learner who embraces new experiences and interacts well)
- Tristen – Kindness Superhero Award (recognising the learner who swoops in with acts of kindness and saves the day, one smile at a time)
- Callum – Joyful Jester Award (celebrating the learner who brings joy and laughter to the class, making the day brighter for everyone)
- Kaine – Persevering Power Award (celebrating the learner with growing commitment and perseverance)
And our learners created some awards for the Step Into Learning staff. Each staff member received their own certificate. Here are the names of the awards and the award winners:

We have really enjoyed today and it’s been great to see all the smiling, happy faces celebrating together.
Special thank you goes to super-talented local woodworker, Chris Theobald, who handmade all our Step Into Learning wooden star awards – they look amazing. They are also sustainable which is important to Step Into Learning as we progress on our sustainability journey.
Well done to everyone involved today! Make sure those certificates and awards get a prominent position at home!
