Trip to National Marine Aquarium Plymouth

On Monday, 5th January, our Step Into Skills learners visited National Marine Aquarium Plymouth.

 

They had an amazing day looking around the aquarium, seeing all the animals and talking to the staff who work there. Our learners particularly focused on considering the roles and responsibilities of all the different staff members who work at the aquarium, considering the training that might be required and how they work together as a team.

 

The trip was thoroughly enjoyed by all, and our learners learnt a lot about what working at the Aquarium would be like and what skills they might need.
