Our Learners Are Mushroom Masters!
What an incredible opportunity they had to learn from the true experts at Atlantic Fungi Cooperative. Our learners were taught about the lifecycle of mushrooms, how to grow them, and even how to harvest their produce. It was an interactive experience, with the opportunity to get their hands dirty and even drill their own oyster mushroom buckets to take home. We look forward to seeing their home-grown produce in about a month’s time.
Atlantic Fungi Cooperative is based in Downs Barton, Bude is an environmentally, and socially conscious business with sustainability at the very core of its business model. They grow a vast variety of mushroom species and sell mushroom products with the added option of their informative workshops which include a tour of the site. We want to thank them for the experience they provided our learners.
