Cornwall Hospitality Collective Visit
We were delighted to welcome Cornwall Hospitality Collective to visit our Level 1 Step Into Hospitality, and Level 2 Step Into Catering learners. Mark, one of our visitors, spoke to our learners about the hospitality industry and his career that led to the development of the Collective.
Mark and James developed Cornwall Hospitality Collective to bring together hospitality organisations to share best practices and to educate and support career initiatives in schools and colleges in Cornwall.
Our learners got involved in a practical and made a cheesecake each and were able to take them home to their families. It was a great opportunity for our learners to engage with someone new, to share what they have learnt, to ask questions, and to develop their knowledge. This visit highlighted how much the learners have grown in confidence and developed their communication skills.
Thank you to Cornwall Hospitality Collective and we look forward to working with you again.
