Foundations for work project comes to a close

The Foundations for work project is coming to a close after successfully running for the past 3 years.  The project was set up to support unemployed people in North Cornwall to build confidence, motivation and skills to start their journey towards finding work or training.  Lucy Muldowney Project Coordinator alongside Work Mentors Naomi West & Caroline Green supported many participants to find employement, training courses and support.

Many people took part in our courses in Essential English, Maths & Digital Skills during their time on the project to upskill and improve their iT skills.

Some of the areas we were able to support people with included mental health issues, homelessness, foodbank referrals, benefit applications, CV writing, job applications and helping to prepare people for interview.  We have received many good wishes from our partipants and we would like to take this opportunity to wish them all the best for the future.
