Free, Digital & Employability Skills Workshops

Free, Digital & Employability Skills Workshops will be starting in February at The Orchard Centre with two drop in sessions planned for Tuesday 6th & Tuesday 13th February from 10am-1pm. Come along to learn IT skills and get support with job applications, refreshments will also be available. Please see below for dates and times of sessions:

Tuesday 5th March – Basic Computer Skills: internet, search engines, email

Tuesday 19th March – CVs: what to include, planning out, cover letters

Tuesday 16th April – MS Word: basic intro, creating a CV, saving CV as word doc or pdf

Tuesday 30th April – Online Job Hunting: Indeed, CV Library, Gov.uk, creating a profile, uploading a CV, searching & applying for jobs

Tuesday 14th May – Excel: basic intro, simple formula, using excel to manage finances, template for finances
