Learners Visit China Fleet Country Club

On Friday 5th June, learners enrolled on our Step into Hospitality course enjoyed an exciting industry visit to China Fleet Country Club in Saltash.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity for learners to gain first-hand insight into the hospitality industry and experience a professional environment in action. During their time at the club, learners were given a guided tour of the facilities and were able to observe the day-to-day operations that help the venue run smoothly.

Highlights of the visit included behind-the-scenes access to the kitchen and restaurant areas, where learners gained an understanding of food preparation, customer service, and hospitality management. They also explored the club’s leisure facilities, learning about the wide range of services offered to members and visitors. There was even time for an enjoyable round of adventure golf!

The experience helped bring classroom learning to life, giving learners a greater understanding of the diverse career opportunities available within the hospitality sector.
