Step Into Supported Internships – New for September 2026!
We are thrilled to announce that we are adding to our study programmes in September 2026, with the launch of Step Into Supported Internships!
Step Into Supported Internships is a study programme for 16-24s with an EHCP. In 2026-27, our Supported Internship offer will be available exclusively to learners currently enrolled on our Step Into Skills study programme (2025-26), creating a two-year pathway:
- Year 1: Step Into Skills – developing confidence, independence and work-readiness
- Year 2: Step Into Supported Internships – applying those skills in real work placements with tailored support
Learners will spend 4 days per week at a work placement (aligned with the learner’s career aspirations), with job coach support, and 1 day per week at onsite training in Launceston. The onsite training day will be tailored to the individual learner’s needs.
